AMERICAS
Americas Travel Restrictions
Travellers from outbreak & variant virus hotspots
Many countries are restricting entry for travellers who have visited an outbreak and/or variant virus hotspot, including Brazil, India, and South Africa. Travellers from neighbouring countries may also be restricted.
Argentina
Open foreign nationals who are fully vaccinated. No quarantine if vaccinated. Proof of medical insurance is required. The crew must be vaccinated or they must quarantine the entire length of their stay. Universal Aviation Argentina can assist.
Belize
Vaccinated travellers allowed. Health insurance coverage is required for passengers effective Feb 15.
Bolivia
U.S. passengers allowed entry for business. Fully-vaccinated travellers can enter without quarantine. Travel health insurance is required.
Brazil
Passengers require a COVID test and proof of vaccination to enter without quarantine. Universal Aviation Brazil is following our C19 Health and Safety standards to support you safely.
Chile
Vaccinated foreign passengers are allowed and can enter only at SCCI, SCDA, SCFA, and SCEL airports. Requirements for entry are proof of vaccination, PCR test, health affidavit, travel medical insurance and self-isolate until on-arrival COVID test results are known. Universal Aviation Chile is staying on top of the latest.
Colombia
International passengers are allowed to arrive in Colombia. All passengers AND crew require proof of vaccination. A negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival is only needed if partially vaccinated or vaccination status is less than 14-days old. CHECK MIG form required on the Colombian Immigration website. SKBO, SKCG, SKRG, and SKCL are open to accepting flights from the U.S., Ecuador, Mexico, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Curacao, and Panama.
Costa Rica
Open. No quarantine or pre-arrival test is required. All passengers and crew must have travel insurance unless fully vaccinated, and complete this health form in advance.
Ecuador
Open. Health form required. All passengers require vaccination and a pre-arrival COVID test to enter. Active crew travelling to the Galapagos Islands will need to comply with the same rules as passengers.
El Salvador
Open. No quarantine, testing, or vaccination requirement.
Falkland Islands
Business flights require a special invitation letter. Quarantine and periodic COVID testing required, no exemptions. Leisure flights are possible if transiting directly to a private vessel. Contact locator form required. Adequate aeromedical insurance is recommended.
French Guiana
Fully-vaccinated individuals can now enter French Guiana without a compelling reason for travel. Pre-arrival test, on arrival test, and a 7-day quarantine are all required.
Guatemala
Open. Proof of vaccination is required for entry. Health screening on arrival.
Guyana
Open to fully-vaccinated passengers. No quarantine. Subject to health screening on arrival.
Honduras
Open for business flights. Quarantine and testing not required with proof of vaccination.
Nicaragua
Open. No quarantine. Local contact and aircraft sanitization certificate required.
Panama
Open. Fully-vaccinated travellers can bypass quarantine and COVID testing requirements. Must complete an online registration form.
Paraguay
Paraguay is open for flights. Proof of medical insurance is required. Health card required. With proof of vaccination, quarantine is not required.
Peru
Reopened for international flights with the exception of those who have been in South Africa or Botswana in the past 14 days. Proof of vaccination is required for entry.
Suriname
Fully-vaccinated travellers may enter for any reason and are exempt from quarantine.
Uruguay
Fully-vaccinated travellers are allowed entry, as long as the final dose of vaccine was within the previous 9 months. No quarantine required. COVID testing is required upon arrival. Medical insurance with COVID-19 coverage is required.
Venezuela – Accessible with approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Quarantine at government facilities required, up to 14 days. Aircraft Disinfection is required.
EUROPE
Europe Travel Restrictions
European countries that are accessible to passengers from the U.S. and other countries include:
Albania
Open. Health screening upon arrival. Travellers will require one of the following: proof of vaccination, recovery, or negative COVID test result.
Austria
Open. Immunized U.S. travellers can enter for leisure. Travellers who have received a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccination will be allowed entry without any testing or quarantine requirement. See entry details online.
Belarus
Accessible. Travellers from this list of countries will likely have to self-quarantine. Immunized travellers are exempt from testing and isolation.
Belgium
Non-essential travel from the US is permitted. Test on arrival and isolation until results are known.
Bosnia and Herzegovina – US citizens are allowed entry with a negative COVID test, proof of vaccination, or proof of recovery.
Bulgaria
The US is on the Red List. Any traveller coming from the U.S. direct to Bulgaria must have a valid EU digital COVID certificate for vaccination or recovery AND approval from the Ministry of Health.
Croatia
Open for tourism with a negative test, vaccine, or proof of recovery. Test on arrival required. Our Universal Aviation offices in Italy are helping coordinate arrangements to enter Croatia for customers.
Cyprus
Open. U.S. citizens can enter for business and tourism. As of Jan 4, new procedures are in place requiring a PCR on arrival, regardless of vaccination status, and a rapid antigen test 72 hours from arrival unless travellers have the booster.
Czech Republic
The US was added to the “Dark Red” category. With that, US-vaccinated persons can still enter without restriction, but non-vaccinated travellers can only enter for limited essential reasons and will have COVID testing requirements with a 10-day quarantine.
Denmark
Fully-vaccinated travellers from the US, other non-high-risk countries, and OECD category countries can enter without testing or quarantine. See detailed entry requirements. (Note: Captcha required to access the site.)
Estonia
Fully-vaccinated travellers can enter. Testing and quarantine are not required with vaccination.
Finland
As part of its phased reopening, vaccinated travellers from all countries (including the United States) are now permitted to enter Finland. Travel is permitted for individuals with a certificate of vaccination or a certificate of recovery linked to the EU Digital COVID Certificate.
France
Open for tourism to fully vaccinated travellers. Countries on the Red list, like the US, are subject to possible testing on arrival. The Universal Aviation France can help non-EU citizens/residents (crew and pax), vaccinated with either Pfizer or Moderna, apply for an EU
Digital Health Pass, which is good for all of Europe. The service is being offered for any flight we’re managing within France.
France requires that passengers on domestic legs provide proof of vaccination, recovery, or a negative PCR test. In addition, the crew is required to provide this. This does not change active crew health entry requirements for international ops into France; just domestic legs in the country.
Germany
US travellers are allowed for tourism with either a negative test, proof of vaccination, or recent (6 months) proof of recovery. Quarantine can be bypassed with proof of vaccination or proof of recovery.
Greece
Open to US travellers that are vaccinated OR those who have a negative PCR test result taken 72 hours before arrival. All arrivals are subject to random rapid tests upon arrival. PLF form needs to be filled out at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Travel back and forth from the mainland to islands or vice versa requires a PCR test or proof of vaccination. Indoor dining requires proof of vaccine or negative COVID test.
Greenland
Open with prior permission. Proof of vaccination is required for entry.
Hungary
Travellers should be fully vaccinated to avoid quarantine, and additional testing is required after arrival.
Iceland
Open to travellers with proof of vaccination or recovery. Vaccinated travellers are exempt from quarantine.
Ireland
Fully-vaccinated and/or recently recovered travellers from the EU, the US and other low-risk countries are allowed to enter without testing upon arrival or quarantine without the pre-arrival testing requirement as of Jan 6, 2022. Omicron-specific testing requirements have been removed.
Related to the above, Ireland is participating in the EU’s Digital Green Pass Program, allowing pass holders with proof of vaccination, recovery, or recent test result. There are exemptions to the above restrictions for tech stops. US CBP Preclearance is open at Shannon/EINN for GA. Read our blog for details and ops procedures.
Italy
Open to U.S. and Canadian citizens for tourism. Open to vaccinated travellers from the UK. Must have the following: 1) proof of vaccination or recovery, AND 2) proof of negative COVID test. Universal Aviation Italy is ready to support your missions.
Kosovo
Open. All travellers 12 and up need proof of vaccination.
Latvia
Open for leisure. Vaccinated/recovered passengers travelling from countries not classified as “Very high risk” or “New COVID variant” are exempt from pre-arrival Covid-19 testing and self-isolation.
Lithuania
Open to fully vaccinated individuals.
Luxembourg
Open to fully vaccinated individuals.
Macedonia
Open. All persons arriving in North Macedonia will need to present either a negative result from a COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before entry, proof of full vaccination, or proof of having recovered from COVID-19 within the previous 45 days.
Malta
Immunized travellers from the US, which is on the Red List, will be allowed entry.
Moldova
International travellers are required to present proof of vaccination, recovery, or negative COVID test result to enter.
Montenegro
Open to U.S. citizens. Travellers must present a vaccination certificate or negative Covid test. Aircraft disinfection required.
Netherlands
Most fully-vaccinated travellers arriving from areas designated very high risk without a COVID-19 variant of concern are not exempt from mandatory 10-day self-quarantine, including travellers from the United States. Some exceptions include “Urgent short-term cross-border business trips”, and “Significant contribution to the Dutch economy”. See the website for details and consult with us prior to operation.
Norway
Open to fully-vaccinated travellers. As of Feb 1, no testing is required if vaccinated. Travellers who have received a booster shot at least seven days before travelling to the Netherlands will no longer be required to self-isolate upon entry.
Poland
Allowed travellers, including U.S. citizens, with an EU-approved vaccine OR proof of recovery, are exempt from quarantine. The updated flight ban list can be found online.
Portugal
Officially open to tourism, including U.S./Canadian travellers. Proof of vaccination required. In response to Omicron, a pre-arrival test is now required. Note: Portugal has implemented a new carbon tax for charter ops.
Romania
Open. No quarantine for passengers who can provide proof of vaccination or recent recovery.
Russia
Allowing international travellers from a number of countries, including the U.S. and Mexico, for nonessential travel. Canadians and Latin American countries are still prohibited.
Serbia
US citizens can enter for business or tourism. No quarantine required. Aircraft disinfection required.
Slovak Republic
Immunized business travellers with an acceptable reason for business can be exempted from quarantine. Travellers from the EU and Schengen region are not required to test or quarantine with proof of vaccine. Travellers from Red countries (including the US) can end their quarantine with a negative PCR test on the fifth day of quarantine.
Slovenia
International arrivals must provide proof of vaccination, recovery, or negative COVID test to enter without quarantine. See website for details.
Spain
Open to fully-vaccinated US travellers. Universal Aviation Spain can assist.
Sweden
As of Nov. 5, vaccinated U.S. residents can travel directly.
Switzerland – Open to U.S. and Canadian travellers. Proof of vaccination or recovery is required. COVID pre-arrival testing was reinstated in response to Omicron. Post-arrival testing is required.
Turkey
Non-vaccinated travellers from high-risk countries (none of which are EU, UK, U.S., or Canada) must quarantine. Other than travellers from high-risk countries, Turkey remains open on the Mediterranean to Private/Business flights (including leisure) regardless of the country of registration and/or nationality of the passenger. Ukraine
Open to unvaccinated travellers. No quarantine required. Medical insurance and tracer app required. Aircraft disinfection required.
UK entry requirements
COVID Testing Policy
RAF Northolt Airport in London has extended its M-F operating hours by three hours to 0800-2000L. This is a big deal because as the closest GA-accessible to central London, as well as the closest airport to Heathrow, these long hours make it a much better option for international operators. Universal Aviation Northolt worked hard to make this happen.

MIDDLE EAST, SE ASIA & AFRICA
Angola
Testing upon arrival and departure is required. A travel registration form and mandatory quarantine for at least 10 days are required. Flights to and from Australia, Aircraft disinfection required.
Bahrain Vaccinated foreign nationals with valid visas are allowed entry. Vaccinated travellers
are exempt from quarantine, as long as they test negative for COVID upon arrival. Smartphone app required.
Benin
Open to U.S. passengers. Testing upon arrival and departure is required.
Botswana
Accessible. No quarantine, unless coming from a high-risk country. Test on arrival required and an additional test on departure.
Burkina Faso
Locator form and health declaration required. Testing required for departure.
Burundi
US passengers can enter with government approval. Test on arrival and self-isolation required while awaiting results.
Cape Verde
All international flights are allowed.
Central African Republic
Open with stringent health requirements. US citizens may have to quarantine.
Chad
Open. Testing on arrival required. Travellers must surrender their passports and remain in self-isolation for seven days, with an additional test being performed on the seventh day in isolation. Travellers in Chad for fewer than seven days do not need to quarantine.
Comoro Is
Open to U.S. passengers. Health survey, aircraft disinfection, visa, and pre-departure test required. No quarantine.
Congo, Democratic Republic of (DRC)
Health forms required. Private flights are authorized on a case-by-case basis. Testing on arrival required. The outbound test is required within 72 hours prior to departure from DRC.
Côte d’Ivoire
Open to US passengers. Testing and health screening upon arrival. Testing required for departure.
Djibouti
US passengers are allowed. Flights must get permission. Mandatory COVID-19 testing on arrival and departure.
Egypt
All airports are open. Tourism is limited to resorts. No quarantine. Aircraft disinfection required. Health insurance is required. Test on arrival dependent on recent travel history. Fully-vaccinated individuals, except those from high-risk countries, are exempt from taking a PCR test if they have an approved vaccination certificate with a QR code.
Equatorial Guinea
Some essential business flights are allowed. Proof of vaccination, testing upon arrival, and quarantine required. Travellers from countries with variant strains of the disease may be prohibited from entering the country UFN. Health insurance is required.
Eritrea
US citizens can enter with a valid visa and a special invitation letter. Diplomatic permission is required for all landings. Rapid COVID-19 antigen test upon arrival required. PCR test required for departure.
Eswatini (Swaziland)
Open to US passengers. Health screening upon arrival. Aircraft disinfection required.
Ethiopia
Open with quarantine. Aircraft disinfection required. Pre-departure test with Trusted Travel.
Gabon
Open. Proof of vaccination is required to bypass quarantine. Test upon arrival and on departure required. Individuals will have to show a negative COVID-19 PCR test or a vaccination certificate to access public places.
Gambia
Open. Travellers arriving from hotspot countries, including the US, will be required to undergo testing upon arrival.
Ghana
Government authorization and vaccination are needed for entry. Test on arrival and prior to departure required.
Guinea
US passengers are allowed for business. Health declaration form required. Negative COVID test required for departure. Travellers who are arriving from locations where variants of COVID-19 are known to be circulating must present a vaccination certificate, test upon arrival, and may be subject to quarantine.
Guinea-Bissau
US passengers allowed. No quarantine.
India
Has resumed issuing tourist visas for tourists on chartered flights. Effective Feb 14, no quarantine is required for international visitors, and a PCR test is only required if unvaccinated. Until then… 7-day quarantine and test are required on exit. Travellers from high-risk countries need additional tests on arrival. More details online.
Iran
Vaccinated travellers are allowed and exempt from quarantine, with pre-arrival testing. U.S. passengers are allowed entry with an Iranian visa. Testing on arrival for travellers from high-risk countries. Aircraft disinfection required.
Israel
Israel is open to fully vaccinated travellers, with the last jab within 180 days, or those with proof of recovery AND at least one job of the vaccine. PCR testing on arrival is required for everyone, including the crew. Quarantine until results are known. If arriving from a red list country, 7- or 14-day quarantine is required. Jordan
Open to fully-vaccinated travellers. Testing on arrival required. No quarantine. Health insurance, aircraft disinfection and tracing app required. Visa on arrival is now available for GCC countries, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, EU countries, Switzerland, and the UK.
Kenya
Open to 200+ nations/states, including U.S. Proof of vaccination required. No quarantine. test required to exit.
Lebanon
Vaccinated travellers are exempt from quarantine. Health insurance and test on arrival required. Self isolate until results are known.
Liberia
Open. Proof of vaccination required. Mandatory testing on arrival and departure. Liberia Travel App download and health screening arrival form required.
Madagascar
Very restricted. Open to U.S. passengers with special permission only. Test on arrival and health screening.
Malawi
Open. Electronic vaccination certificate required for entry. Travellers without the electronic vaccination certificate and who refuse to take vaccination on arrival will be quarantined for 10 days. Test on arrival and testing on departure required.
Mali
Open. Quarantine is not required. Departure test required.
Mauritania
Open. Vaccination required for entry. Testing is required to depart.
Mauritius Is.
No quarantine for vaccinated travellers. Testing, health insurance, and aircraft disinfection are required.
Mayotte
Open for vaccinated travellers. Test on arrival required.
Morocco
Open. A vaccination pass is required for entry. Test on arrival.
Mozambique
Open. Business travel permitted (including for U.S. citizens). Testing on arrival required. Aircraft disinfection required.
Namibia
Open. No quarantine required. Testing is required to depart.
Niger
Open. CAA might require MOFA approval. 7-day self-isolation required. Testing required for departure.
Nigeria
Open. Vaccinated travellers are not required to quarantine. Test on arrival and departure required. Health form portal.
Oman
A vaccine certificate is required for entry. With a negative PCR test done on/before arrival, quarantine is not required. Officials have lifted entry restrictions for foreigners with visas. Health insurance and smartphone app required. Authorities have suspended the option to isolate at a private residence UFN.
Pakistan
As of Jan 5, fully vaccinated travellers are allowed entry. Testing on arrival required for travellers from certain countries.
Qatar
Vaccinated US travellers (currently on the Red List) and those from the Green List can enter. Vaccinated travellers from Green List countries are exempted from quarantine, as long as pre-arrival testing is provided. Testing on arrival is required. Smartphone app required. Visitors from countries on the Red List must be vaccinated and are subject to on arrival testing and hotel quarantine until results are known.
Republic of Congo
Authorities resumed international air travel. Vaccinated travellers are exempted from pre-arrival testing. Test on arrival required. No quarantine requirements for the crew. Must provide a negative test for departure.
Reunion Island
Open. No quarantine for vaccinated travellers. Testing is required on arrival and for departure.
Rwanda
Charter tourism and business flights are allowed. Passenger locator form and testing on arrival. Mandatory quarantine for 24 hours at a designated hotel until results are known. COVID test is required to exit the country.
Sao Tome & Principe
Open to domestic and international travel with government approval at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Test on arrival required. Aircraft disinfection required.
Saudi Arabia
Allowing travellers from the US, UK, and other countries. Tourist Visa issued for fully vaccinated travellers. Booster shot required if more than 8 months have passed since last dose, effective Feb 1. On-arrival and pre-departure PCR test required. Immunized travellers do not require quarantine or on-arrival testing. Health Insurance is required. Smartphone app required.
Senegal
Open. Passengers must complete a passenger locator form online and present it on arrival.
Sierra Leone
Open. No quarantine for vaccinated travellers. Test on arrival required. Aircraft disinfection required.
Seychelles
Open. See the official website for details. Travel health insurance is required. Test on arrival required.
Somalia
Open. Travellers who have been in high-risk countries are required to quarantine.
South Africa
Allowing travel into/out of South Africa for business, leisure, and other travel. Travellers must be screened on arrival. Health insurance is required. Aircraft disinfection required.
South Sudan
Open. No quarantine for vaccinated travellers. Aircraft disinfection required.
Sudan
Open. Quarantine measures were lifted for all travellers with proof of a negative COVID test.
Tanzania
Open. Pax will undergo advanced screening on arrival.
Togo
Open. COVID-19 test required upon arrival and departure. Quarantine while awaiting results. Aircraft disinfection required. Contact tracing app required.
Tunisia
Effective Dec 1, vaccination is mandatory for entry. Foreign travellers are allowed, subject to approval by the CAA. No quarantine is required for vaccinated pax/crew.
Uganda
All international passenger flights are allowed. Aircraft disinfection required. Immunized travellers must still present a negative COVID-19 test result. Test on arrival required.
United Arab Emirates
Open, but entry requirements vary by each emirate. Emirates Airlines has a great tool for checking this. UAE will issue tourist visas for fully vaccinated persons travelling from all countries. PCR test on arrival required. Health insurance and tracer app required. More on Dubai here. Abu Dhabi removed the need to quarantine for all fully-vaccinated travellers arriving from international destinations. Travellers who have recently visited “high-risk” countries are subject to stringent testing and quarantine measures.
Zambia
Open. Travellers arriving from countries deemed high-risk are required to quarantine for 10 days at a government-designated facility. Test on arrival required. Vaccinated travellers with a negative test result are exempt from quarantine requirements.
Zimbabwe
Open. All travellers need to quarantine for 14 days. Test on arrival required.
ASIA PACIFIC
Asia Pacific Travel Restrictions
Australia
Effective Feb 21, all fully vaccinated visa holders can travel to Australia without a travel exemption. Until then… Still predominantly closed to international travellers, with some exceptions for those who have an eligible visa. Accessible to travellers from the U.S. with a business exemption. As of Nov. 1, fully-vaccinated non-Australians can apply for a visa and a travel exemption for specific purposes, such as essential business. Strict testing before and after arrival. Aircraft disinfection required. Check with us for details.
Azerbaijan
Open to vaccinated U.S., UK, and other travellers. No quarantine is required if vaccinated. Negative COVID test required for departure.
Bangladesh
Vaccinated travellers do not need to quarantine unless coming from high-risk countries. Pre-arrival testing is required. Visa-on-arrival services are suspended until further notice. Aircraft disinfection required. Proof of hotel booking is required for travellers arriving from high-risk countries.
Cambodia
Allowing fully-vaccinated U.S. citizens and foreign nationals to enter. Visa, insurance, and test on arrival required. No quarantine when vaccinated. Visa on arrival remains suspended. Hotel booking for crew and unvaccinated travellers is required. Crew staying overnight must be vaccinated.
China
Remains highly restrictive. Testing on arrival and quarantine required for those who can get in. Universal Aviation China is in close contact with local authorities and will be reporting on the latest.
Fiji
International vaccinated arrivals from Fiji’s travel partner countries, including the U.S. and UK who have stayed in these countries at least 14 days prior to coming to Fiji, are permitted with a COVID test and travel medical insurance obtained prior to arrival. Another COVID test is needed upon entry and a 3-day pre-paid accommodation at a CFC-certified facility. Mobile tracker app required. Aircraft disinfection required. See details online.
French Polynesia/Tahiti/Bora Bora/Moorea
Open for tourism to U.S. persons or persons that have been in the U.S. for the preceding 15 days. If vaccinated, you’ll need a PCR test prior to arrival, complete the online form, and take an antigen test upon entry. Quarantine is not required for fully vaccinated travellers from Green, Orange, and Red countries. Aircraft disinfection required. See details online.
Georgia
Special permit required to enter for business purposes. Most foreign nationals must present a vaccination certificate to immigration officials. Online travel form required for entry. Air travel is permitted from any country for individuals who have completed a full course of vaccination against COVID-19.
Guam
Open to U.S. passengers. Vaccination required for entry. Fully vaccinated passengers with proof of FDA-approved vaccine are exempt from quarantine. COVID testing prior to arrival is still required.
Hong Kong
More than 150 countries, including the U.S, are designated as high risk. Travellers who have stayed in Group A high-risk countries for more than 2 hours in the past 21 days are prohibited from entering Hong Kong. Crew members who have visited these countries in the past 21 days have to self-isolate at designated hotels. Travellers might be required to have proof of vaccination and hotel booking depending upon travel history. Enhanced crew testing and quarantine requirements are in place, depending upon vaccination status and travel history. All arriving passengers must undergo COVID-19 testing upon arrival and quarantine. Fully vaccinated passengers are eligible for shortened quarantine depending upon travel history.
Indonesia
U.S. passengers are allowed only if they have a diplomatic visa, temporary (KITAS) permit or permanent (KITAP) permit to stay. All arriving passengers must undergo COVID-19 testing upon arrival and quarantine. The mobile app, health insurance and proof of vaccination are required. Fully-vaccinated travellers with a tourist visa from 18 countries (the US not on the list) are allowed entry (hotel booking, insurance and 5-day quarantine required).
Japan
In response to Omicron, an entry ban on all foreign nationals, including business flights, is in place by UFN. Universal Aviation Japan is reporting on the latest.
Kyrgyzstan
Open to U.S. travellers. No quarantine for fully vaccinated.
S. Korea – Temporary suspension of Visa Waiver Agreement and Visa-Free Entry for ~50 countries. Exceptions: Diplomatic passport holders, Arrival Crew members, APEC cardholders. Effective Sept 1, foreigners entering Korea from visa-free countries must be issued K-ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) 24 hours before entering Korea. More than 20 countries, including the U.S., allowed entry without a visa. Mandatory screening on arrival, and quarantine required at government-designated facilities (reduced to 7 days as of Feb 4).
Laos
Fully-vaccinated tourist arrivals from select countries, including the U.S, are allowed. Test on arrival and quarantine until results are known. Health insurance is required.
Macau
As of Jan 24, Macau has lifted a ban on inbound passenger flights, with testing and quarantine required. Travellers from extremely high-risk countries (including US) are subject to enhanced testing and quarantine measures. COVID test required on all outbound flights. Aircraft disinfection required.
Maldives
Tourists who are fully vaccinated or recently recovered are allowed to stay at Guesthouses. Tourists must have a confirmed reservation for the entire stay. Testing is required to exit the country. Aircraft disinfection required.
New Caledonia
Open to vaccinated travellers with prior approval. Test within 48 hours of arrival. Quarantine required.
New Zealand
The government announced a 5-step plan to reopen borders from Feb27 prioritizing returning New Zealanders initially. Managed isolation and quarantine will be removed for vaccinated travellers, replaced by self-isolation and tests on arrival. Until then… Still predominantly closed. Entry is allowed for New Zealand citizens and resident VISA holders. Request for travel to New Zealand is required and permitted travellers will require full vaccination. Nepal
Officials have resumed visa on arrival and lifted on-arrival testing and quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated. Pre-booked accommodation required.
North Mariana Islands
Open to U.S. passengers for business, tourism, and tech stops. Vaccination required for entry. The on-arrival test is required. Vaccinated travellers are exempted from quarantine. Health form required.
Palau
International traffic has officially resumed but remains restricted. Officials only allow fully-vaccinated travellers. Quarantine required. Health Insurance and aircraft disinfection are required.
Papua New Guinea
Open for fully vaccinated travellers. No quarantine with vaccination. On arrival test required. Tourism travel is still banned.
Philippines – International visitors, including travellers from the U.S., will be welcome to enter as of Feb. 10. No quarantine if vaccinated.
Singapore

Taiwan
Foreign nationals without Alien Resident Certificates are prohibited from entering UFN. Depending on the departure country, quarantine requirements vary. Leisure is not allowed. Travellers must submit proof that they have suitable accommodations. Test on arrival required.

Not accessible to most passengers, including U.S. travellers.
Thailand
The “test and go” quarantine exemption for travellers resumes Feb 1. It has various requirements for approved hotels, transportation, insurance, and testing. See details online.
